A Letter From Co-Founder & CEO, Patrick Bosek

When my co-founder and I founded easyDITA, our goal was to improve technical content production with DITA XML. We can confidently say that we achieved that goal. The foundation of our original mission has been deeply rooted in using structured content to improve technical communication as a whole.

But, as the world has changed and the demands placed on knowledge content have grown, it’s time for our mission to grow as well. As stewards of structured content, we knew that our original mission had to expand beyond technical publications. We still believe DITA is the right structure and even though DITA is no longer part of our name, it’s still part of our DNA.

That’s where Heretto comes into play.

While keeping technical publications at the core of our product, Heretto will build upon our long-established foundation and move forward to encompass all knowledge content. We plan to help organizations create, optimize, and disseminate their knowledge. Our new mission is to help our customers create better knowledge experiences for better customer experiences, better employee experiences, and more profitable organizations.

Heretto is a vision of what we want our customers to achieve with their content: a truly scalable enterprise content infrastructure built on interoperability and hyper-personalized knowledge.

Why rebrand?

As the world of content evolves around us, we must move in stride with it. With Heretto, we align ourselves to deliver a bigger promise and drive every Knowledge Experience by being the most loved and most scalable ContentOps platform for Knowledge Management.

Don’t worry, nothing’s changing just yet, but we have an exciting few months ahead of us as we map out our mission, and we’re really glad to have you with us on this journey.
